Planned Maintenance Program

You have a large investment in your dock leveling equipment. Are you taking the necessary steps to protect its productivity?

• The average dock leveler endures 70,000 trips per year.
• Most people aren't aware that the capital investment on a new dock leveler can be in excess of $8,000.

Miami Industrial Trucks offers a quality service that will protect your dock leveler and maximize its productivity. The service, called Planned Maintenance (PM), will protect the value and increase the life of your equipment.

Here is a brief description of how our PM program works:

1. An appropriate service frequency is established by one of our professionals and put into an accurate scheduling system (60, 90, 120, or 180 day intervals).
2. On each scheduled visit, one of our trained service technicians reports to a designated company contact for reference and equipment release.
3. Our service technician then goes over a comprehensive PM diagnostic check of your equipment.
4. After the work is performed, the completed PM check form is given to the appropriate person. In the "Comments" section of the report, our technician notifies you of what additional work needs to be completed on your dock leveler. No further work is done until someone from your firm authorizes it.
5. If additional work is approved, it is billed at our normal service billing rate.
