MIT Introduces New "Preferred Partner"
Program
|
We
are happy to announce a new program that is available to
all qualified customers. As our customer demands
continue to change in the markets we serve, so have we.
Over the past five years, we have tried to bring to
market products and services that our customers seem to
require in operating their businesses most cost
effectively. With more and more companies reducing their
vendor base, we realized that we needed to expand some
of the services we were providing them.

our 49 years in business, we have always tried to
be our customers "single source" for all their
material handling needs. Today we are in the
position to bring more "value added" products and
services to the companies we do business with. We
now have available, in addition to our extensive
forklift capabilities, the following: |

Factory Backed Forklift Tire Sale
|
We
are happy to announce that our "factory backed" tire
sale will take place in August. There is no better time
to replace those much needed forklift tires. When your
tires are half worn, almost 100% of the shock is
transmitted through the tire to the machine and the
operator. In addition the tire has lost 40% of its
original carrying capacity. The loss of capacity will
cause accelerated wear and overheating. Your operators
will also notice lower speeds and reduced ride comfort.
Most important of all is the maintenance cost on your
forklift will also go up!
Let
our company answer all of your questions on tire
replacement, tire types, designs and tread profiles best
suited for your application. Our tire sale will take
place this year during the following weeks:
 |
August
4 - 11 in our Findlay (800-968-4898) and Toledo
(866-531-4601) territories |
 |

18 - 25 in our Dayton, Richmond, Troy

G-Force Impact Monitors
Most
industrial accidents and damages in the material handling
industry can be attributed to careless operation and operator
abuse. It is said that more than 70% of the maintenance costs
on lift trucks can be attributed to operator abuse.
MIT
now has a solution to your problem with a G-force Impact
Monitor device to put on your lift truck. These devices have
been on the market for a few years and we feel today that they
are reliable devices to reduce impact problems to lift trucks,
equipment, inventory, pallet racking, etc.
How
it Works – The system is programmed to detect potentially
damaging impacts while ignoring the low energy bumps and jots
of normal operation. In the event of an impact that exceeds
the established threshold, an alarm is activated and/or lift
interrupt occurs, allowing the forks only to be lowered. The
alarm remains engaged and the forks lowered until a "Disarm
Key" resets the unit. Turning off the truck or disconnecting
the battery CANNOT reset the alarm.
G-Force
mounts on almost any material handling vehicle, IC or
electric, and takes approximately 45 minutes to install.
Depending on your need, the G-Force has the capability to run
several management reports using a Windows-based PC.
Call
one of our Product Support Account Managers today and learn
more about your investment cost, installation and availability
of this unique safety device.
