Miami Industrial Trucks, Inc (MIT) has reached a milestone of 50 years of "Beyond World Class" Service. Our business was started with only 6 employees in a 4,000 square foot facility in Moraine, Ohio. Today we have over 155 employees and 4 locations: Dayton, Troy, Findlay and Toledo, Ohio. Since our incorporation, we have been a "value added" material handling distributor, selling, renting and servicing cost-effective, high quality material handling products and systems to solve problems for all types of business. We have been recognized by our industry as one of the premier forklift dealers of our size in North America.

Our President/CEO Mark Jones comments: "We are proud of our accomplishments over the last 50 years. Our sustained existence has occurred with some very important ingredients...quality people, good products, vision and dedication to beyond world-class service. While our journey has been a successful one, it has taken the dedication and commitment of all our employees to achieve this landmark. Miami Industrial Trucks appreciates the support of its employees, their families, our suppliers and our loyal customer base for making this possible."

We are the authorized forklift dealer for Caterpillar, Clark and Mitsubishi in 33 counties in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan. We want to be sure to tell all our customers that we appreciate your business and thank you for helping us grow the last 50 years!

New AC-Controlled Sit Down Rider Electrics

Cat and Mitsubishi Forklifts are pleased to announce their all-new AC (Alternating Current) powered, electric sit down rider lift trucks. With faster travel and lift speeds, improved torque and speed control features allow for optimum driving performance, improved energy efficiency and extended service intervals.

Energy Saving Extraordinaire

Miami Industrial Trucks, Inc. is happy to announce that we are now the distributor in our trading area for Miror Lighting, Inc. This is another cost saving product we want to tell all our customers about.

400 watt Metal Halide

MX

Replace your metal halide fixtures one-for-one in your plant or warehouse with Miror's MX Fluorescent Hi-Bay light fixtures and you will save a bundle. This new lighting product will immediately cut your energy costs in half. Paybacks within 2 years or less are not uncommon when installing this new lighting technology.

Other benefits for changing to this lighting system include:

  • Energy Policy Act of 2005: This energy bill gives tax deductions for energy-efficient renovation and construction.
  • Improved employee productivity and work satisfaction with better-lit work areas.
  • Better color recognition due to fluorescent lamp technology.
  • Improved overall safety from properly illuminated work areas.

Let us have our Industrial Lighting Specialist survey your lighting requirements and make a cost estimate of installing this cost-saving system. We'd be happy to do a return on investment calculation to show your company the payback with this outstanding product.

With its dark lighting, this warehouse poses many safety hazards.

Ergonomics Is Not a Regulation...It's Common Sense

Overhead Lifting Systems offer reduction of operator load forces, traveling capability (vertically and laterally) and ease of workload positioning.

Continuous lifting and positioning of palletized loads in a workstation will often develop production-robbing fatigue and even more serious cumulative trauma disorders. Lift Tables or Overhead Cranes aid in the reduction of these injuries and costly downtime.

Through OSHA's (Occupational Safety and Health Agency) Web site, which can be viewed here, you can access information from the current status on public hearings to a copy of the Standard itself. This information can simply be reviewed or downloaded. Also included is an FAQ section with many resources on Ergonomic Standards.

Miami Industrial Trucks, Inc. offers a wide variety of lifting devices for a broad range of industrial applications. With your Account Manager's help, this equipment can be incorporated to suit the working environment in which they will be put to use.

Lift tables offer high
capacities, stable platform
characteristics, speed and
portability.
