Mobile Tire Service

Miami Industrial Trucks, Inc. is happy to announce the purchase of a new “state of the art” specially designed forklift tire press truck to better serve our many industrial tire customers. We now have the ultimate piece of equipment to press forklift tires. It’s equipped with every type of press tool to remove and install any type and style of industrial truck tire.

With MIT’s Forklift Tire Truck, tires can be pressed right in your place of business.

This vehicle has a lift gate to raise the tires into the truck and a lift plate inside to raise the tires and rims up to the tire press. It’s user-friendly and safe and enables our technician to be very productive in mounting tires in your place of business. This will maximize forklift uptime for our customers. Our truck can be backed up to dock doors so that your forklifts don’t have to be taken outside of the building in the rain or snow.

Ray Brush, a 29-year veteran technician with our company, says, “This is the best tire press truck I’ve ever seen or used.”  Please don’t hesitate to call us for any of your forklift tire needs at 800-444-4808.

The truck backs up to dock doors so forklifts don’t have to be outside in rain or snow. A lift gate raises forklift tires directly into the truck.

Forklift Emission Testing

Our emissions tester will analyze the level of carbon monoxide in your plant.

It’s that time of the year when buildings are closed up and forklift emissions are of concern to the safety of your employees inside. We would like to let everyone know that Miami Industrial Trucks, Inc. has a “value added” service to test the environment that your forklifts are working in.

We have the Blanke Emissions Tester used by OSHA inspectors to assist our customers in testing their plant carbon monoxide content. Our tests are run in three modes: idle, cruise, and under load.

OSHA recommends that internal combustion engines operating indoors be below 1% carbon monoxide. The benefits of this inspection are: health and safety of your employees, longer engine life, and fuel savings economy. Fuel savings can be very significant, which can save your company thousands of dollars annually. If you'd like us to do a Fuel Savings/Emission test on your internal combustion forklifts, please give our service department a call at 800-444-4808 and we will give you all the details about our service.

Cat End-Rider Walkie Lift Truck

Two models of Cat’s Electric End-Rider Walkie Lift Truck are available: 6,000 and 8,000 lbs.

Cat Lift Trucks has introduced the WR6000-WR8000 series of AC-powered electric end-rider walkie lift trucks. This new series features walk-behind and ride-on versatility and an innovative AC controller precisely matched to drive motor power requirements with maximum efficiency.

The series offers two models with capacities of 6,000 and 8,000 lbs., both of which are engineered for long-term reliability in demanding manufacturing, industrial and commercial applications. The AC electric end-rider walkies are ideal for food packaging, general stocking and manufacturing applications where long runs, floor-level order-picking and the need for excellent maneuverability are a substantial part of the working day.

This long performance truck model uses innovative three-phase AC technology, resulting in increased efficiency and optimizing energy resources for longer battery shift life.
Advanced regenerative braking further enhances energy efficiency and smoothes out directional changes, while dramatically reducing brake pad wear, when compared to conventional designs.
In line with Cat Lift Trucks’ legendary commitment to worry-free operations, the WR6000-WR8000 series features a new design that separates the hydraulic and electrical systems, keeping hydraulic fluid away from the electronics.
In order to simplify the maintenance process, all components are immediately accessible when the cover is removed, and all switches—which are rated for at least 1 million cycles—are sealed against dirt and moisture.

Supported by Miami Industrial Trucks, Inc .these end-rider walkie trucks come with 500-hour service intervals. Give one of our Account Managers a call to learn more about this exciting new rider/walkie electric machine. Call 800-444-4808.

Cost Savings Idea 1: Waste Reduction and Recycling Equipment Saves Money

Waste hauling companies are just that, haulers. They make money every time they pull your waste container. Oftentimes, a hauler will charge you the same rate for each pickup. It doesn't matter if you have 100 pounds of trash or 20,000 pounds. It is up to you to maximize your waste loads. How? Compaction is the answer. The right piece of compactor equipment can save you up to 70%. Most of our customers can save 40-50% in the first year. Call Miami Industrial Trucks, Inc. today and have one of our compactor/baler specialists perform an on-site survey. By looking at your waste bills and usage, and understanding local hauling regulations, we can suggest the best method for you to obtain the largest savings possible.  Call us today at 800-444-4808.

The right compactor can save you up to 70% in hauling costs.

Cost Savings Idea 2: Stop Wasting Energy At The Dock

Are utility bills eating up your profits? Stop wasting energy by plugging the biggest holes in your building—at the dock. According to a dock manufacturer, a Midwest facility with typical trailer and dock door dimensions loses approximately $1,650 annually per dock position if a dock seal isn't in place. With the cost of fuel increasing daily, now is the time to take action. Consider dock seals and shelters. Let our Dock Loading Specialist check out your dock doors and make recommendations today. Contact us today at 800-444-4808.

Without a door seal, heat easily escapes through the dock door.
A properly sealed dock door keeps cold air out.
